- Steam Setting: This mode allows users to steam ingredients. The appliance generates hot steam to cook food thoroughly. The indicator light flashes blue during the steaming process, and the appliance beeps five times upon completion before entering Standby mode. If the water level becomes too low during steaming, the appliance will beep three times and the blue indicator light will flash, prompting the user to refill the water reservoir.
- Blend Setting: This mode is designed for blending hot, steamed ingredients or other soft/cooked foods. The default blending time is one minute, but the cycle can be stopped earlier if desired. The indicator light flashes blue during blending, and the appliance beeps five times upon completion before entering Standby mode.
- Steam + Blend Setting: This integrated mode automatically steams ingredients first, then proceeds to blend them in one continuous process without requiring manual intervention between steps. This feature streamlines the baby food preparation process, making it more convenient.
- Pulse Blend Setting: This specialized blending option allows users to blend ingredients in short bursts, which is ideal for creating coarser textures or for chopping and mincing food. To activate Pulse mode, the user turns the setting dial to "Blend," then pushes and holds the Power button for approximately three seconds until the appliance beeps three times. Once in Pulse mode, pressing and releasing the Power button in quick succession allows for controlled blending until the desired consistency is achieved. The appliance will revert to regular Blend mode if no action is taken for 60 seconds or if the dial is rotated or the Work Bowl is removed.

- Assembly: Before first use, all parts (Blending Blade, Work Bowl, Work Bowl Lid) should be washed, and the Motor Base wiped clean. The Work Bowl Lid twists onto the Work Bowl, and the Blending Blade is gently lowered onto the Blade Holder in the center of the Work Bowl. The assembled Work Bowl is then placed on the Motor Base and turned counter-clockwise to lock it securely into place, aligning the black arrow with the Unlock icon. The appliance will only operate when the Work Bowl and Work Bowl Lid are properly assembled, indicated by six beeps if assembly is incorrect.
- Water Reservoir: The Water Reservoir is filled with cold water for steaming. It is crucial not to add water while the unit is on or hot to prevent burns or scalds. The Water Reservoir Cap twists clockwise to secure it.
- Ingredient Preparation: Ingredients should be prepped by cutting, skinning, and removing any rinds, stems, or stone seeds before being added to the Work Bowl. It is important not to block steam vents with food to avoid pressure buildup.

- Cleaning: All components, except the Motor Base, Blending Blade, and Blade Holder, are dishwasher safe (top shelf only). The Work Bowl and Work Bowl Lid should be washed in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher after each use. The Blending Blade and Blade Holder should be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried thoroughly. It's important to clean the Blending Blade properly after every blend to prevent mineral buildup from fruits and vegetables, which can inhibit optimal operation. The Motor Base should be wiped down with a clean, damp cloth and never submerged in water or any other liquid.
- Disassembly for Cleaning: The appliance should be unplugged and allowed to cool for at least 10 minutes before disassembly for cleaning. The Blending Blade must have stopped rotating, and the motor completely stopped.
- Descaling: Descaling is recommended every four weeks, or sooner if limescale buildup is noticed. The process involves discarding any remaining water from the Water Reservoir, pouring 8oz of white vinegar into it, and letting it sit for 30 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the buildup. After descaling, the reservoir should be rinsed with cool water, and fresh water boiled several times to remove any residual buildup or vinegar. Using filtered water can help reduce limescale buildup.
- Storage: When not in use for an extended period, the appliance should be unplugged. For longer-term storage, all pieces should be kept together in a dry, cool, and safe place where it will not be damaged. Food should be stored in its own container, upright with the lid tightly sealed, and nothing stacked on top.
