The appliance features a control panel for ignition and flame adjustment, a compartment for a 20 lb LP gas cylinder, and a lid for covering the fire bowl when not in use.

Usage Features
Assembly:
The fire pit requires assembly, which involves attaching the legs, side panels, and door panel to the table top assembly using bolts, washers, and a hex screw driver. The gas cylinder support and burner components are also integrated during assembly. Lava rocks are provided and placed in the fire bowl.
Ignition:
To light the burner, ensure the gas control knob is in the "OFF" position. Turn the knob to "ON/MIN," push it in completely, and hold. Simultaneously, press the ignition button for 15 seconds. If the burner does not light, release the knob, wait 5 minutes, and repeat the process. The ignitor module requires one AAA battery, which must be installed with correct polarity.
Flame Adjustment:
The gas control knob allows for adjustment of the flame height, ranging from "ON/MIN" to "MAX." The flames should ideally be blue with straight yellow tops, between 1-2 inches in height, indicating proper airflow. Yellow flames or thick smoke suggest an obstruction.
Fuel Management:
A 20 lb LP gas cylinder is placed in the designated support within the fire pit's enclosure. The regulator is connected to the cylinder by turning a black handle clockwise to tighten. A retention point on the gas cylinder support secures the cylinder to prevent movement. The gas supply must be turned off at the cylinder when the appliance is not in use.
Safety Features:
- Overfilling Prevention Device: The LP gas cylinder must have an overfilling prevention device.
- Regulator: A specific propane gas pressure regulator is provided and must be used with the appliance, set for an outlet pressure of 11 inches water column.
- Clearance Requirements: Strict clearance distances from combustible materials (24 inches from sides, 72 inches from top) must be maintained.
- Leak Test: A leak test using a soap solution is mandatory before initial use and each time the cylinder is connected, to detect any gas leaks.
- Automatic Shutoff: The gas control knob will pop back out if the burner does not light within 15 seconds, indicating a safety mechanism.
- Outdoor Use Only: The appliance is explicitly designed for outdoor use in a well-ventilated space, preventing carbon monoxide buildup.
- Child Safety: Children and adults should be alerted to high surface temperatures, and young children must be carefully supervised.
Storage:
When not in use, the gas must be turned off at the supply cylinder. Storage of the appliance indoors is permissible only if the LP cylinder is disconnected and removed. Disconnected cylinders must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area, out of reach of children, with threaded valve plugs tightly installed.
Maintenance Features
Cleaning:
- Regular Cleaning: Use warm soapy water for cleaning. Avoid flammable or corrosive cleaning agents.
- Burner Area: Keep the area around the burner dry. Do not submerge the control valve assembly. If the gas control is submerged in water, it must be replaced.
- Airflow Passageways: Keep control compartments, burners, and circulating air passageways clean to prevent blockages, which can lead to yellow flames, fire pit not reaching desired temperature, fire pit flame being excessively uneven, fire pit making popping noises, and spiders/insects nesting in burner or orifice. Use a heavy-duty pipe cleaner for burner holes.
- Carbon Deposits: Clean carbon deposits with warm soapy water if they develop.
Inspection:
- Annual Inspection: The appliance should be inspected before use and at least annually by a qualified service person. More frequent cleaning may be required.
- Hose Inspection: Before each use, inspect the hose for excessive abrasion, wear, or damage. Replace the hose assembly if damaged, using only the specified replacement. Ensure the hose is properly located away from pathways and heated surfaces.
- Burner Inspection: Before each use, inspect the burner for damage. Replace the burner if damaged, using only the specified replacement.
- Lava Rock Condition: Periodically check lava rocks for moisture. If wet, allow them to dry completely before use to prevent popping.
Troubleshooting:

NUUGARDEN provides a limited warranty for its fire pit tables:
- Firepits (Burner, steel fire pit bowl, all mechanical parts and fittings, control panel, burner assembly): One (1) year from original date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. Rust is not covered.
- Frames: One (1) year from original date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. Damage from extreme temperatures, dropping, acts of God, or misuse is not covered.
- Finish: One (1) year from original date of purchase against peeling, cracking, or blistering. Fading from exposure, chemical spills, and certain food items are not covered.
- Table Tops: One (1) year from original date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. Breakage, discoloration, staining, and other weather-related issues are not covered.
- Warranty Exclusions: Damage from unreasonable or abusive use, freight damage, acts of vandalism/nature, fire, abuse, lack of proper care, improper assembly, straps and normal fading/discoloration, exposure to elements, oils, spills, fluids/chemicals, table top against breakage, hardware against corrosion/rusting, buckling or peeling of table tops, heating components, table tops for commercial use, display models, clearance items, and lost/stolen parts. The warranty is non-transferable.
