The NÜVE FR 290, FR 490, and FR 590 Deep Freezers are designed for the low-temperature storage of samples in various settings, including hospitals, blood banks, epidemic disease research centers, university research laboratories, genetic engineering facilities, and the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
Function Description:
These freezers are capable of maintaining temperatures between -20°C and -45°C with 1°C sensitivity. They utilize N-SmArt™ microprocessor control systems for safe operation. The DirectFREEZE™ technology ensures strong and rapid cooling, with refrigerant gas passing through evaporators located under each shelf, at the bottom, and at the top of the chamber, directly cooling each compartment. The refrigeration system uses non-explosive, CFC-free refrigerant gas. A key lock on the power switch prevents unauthorized use, and an easily opened door handle with a silicon gasket prevents air leakage.

- Condenser Filter Cleaning: The condenser filter should be cleaned monthly to maintain efficiency. It is accessible by pulling out the front panel of the compressor compartment and can be cleaned with compressed air.
- Door Gasket Inspection: Regular checks for icing on the door gasket are recommended to ensure proper door closure and effective cooling. If excessive icing occurs, the freezer should be turned off for 12 hours to defrost.
- Chamber Cleaning: The chamber should be cleaned with surface disinfectants (e.g., 70% alcohol, 2% glutaraldehyde). Chlorine-containing solutions should not be used.
- General Cleaning: The freezer should be cleaned at room temperature after disconnecting the power cable, using a damp cloth for dirt and dust, and liquid detergent for tough stains. Precautions should be taken when handling chemical cleaners.
- Rust Spot Checks: Regularly check the external condition for any rust spots and remove them.
- Defrosting: Ensure no ice layer forms on the shelves.
- Troubleshooting: The device provides error codes (e.g., EoFF for power failure, Err1 for sensor defect, Err2 for communication error, Err3 for clogged condenser filter, Err5 for open door, Err6 for temperature out of alarm range, Err7 for software incompatibility) with explanations available on the display.
- Fuse Replacement: Fuses must always be replaced by authorized personnel.
