No power assist

Restore drive unit’s firmware by connecting to E-TUBE. If
error persists, contact local dealer.
E014 An abnormal bicycle
speed signal was detected
from the speed sensor
Assist will not be
provided when
riding.
Have your place of purchase perform the following.
Install the speed sensor and magnet in the appropriate
locations.
If the bicycle has been modified, return it to the factory
default setting.
Ride the bicycle for a short while after following the
instructions above to clear the error.
If the error persists, or if the information above does not
apply, contact your distributor for assistance.
E020 Communication error
between the battery and
drive unit detected.
Assist will not be
provided when
riding.
Have your place of purchase perform the following.
Check to see if the cable between the drive unit and
battery is connected correctly, and check the power cord
for abnormalities.
E033 Current firmware not
compatible with this system
Power assistance
is not provided
during riding.
Connect to E-TUBE PROJECT, then update the firmware
for all units to the latest version.
