- Safety Warnings: The manual emphasizes several critical safety points:
- Assembly must be carried out by a competent adult.
- Only one mattress should be used.
- Avoid placing the cot bed near heat sources (electric bar fires, gas fires), windows, or other furniture.
- Ensure no parts are broken, torn, or missing, and use only manufacturer-approved spare parts.
- Do not leave anything in the cot bed or place it close to other products that could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation (e.g., strings, blind/curtain cords).
- Children should be kept away during assembly due to potential injury risks.
- The cot bed should not be placed too close to other furniture or windows, blind cords, curtain pulls, or other strings/cords. It should either be placed tight to any wall or have a gap of 300mm between the wall and the side of the bed.
- All assembly fittings must be properly tightened to prevent injury from loose screws or trapped body parts/clothing.
- Transition to Bed Mode: To prevent falls, the cot should be converted to bed mode as soon as the child is able to climb out of the cot.
Maintenance Features:
- Routine Care:
- Clean the cot bed using only a mild detergent and warm water.
- Do NOT use bleach.
- Do NOT use any abrasive substances.
- Regular Checks: Periodically inspect the cot bed for loose screws and worn parts. Replace or adjust parts as needed to maintain safety and functionality.
