Why is there air left after vacuum packing with my OBH Nordica Kitchen Appliances?

Leaks along the seal may be due to folds, liquid, or particles. Wipe off the bag opening before sealing. Ensure the bag opening is over the sealing unit and in the vacuum channel. Check that the gaskets are intact, clean, and correctly positioned. A leaking vacuum bag can also cause this issue; test the bag by sealing it with a little air and submerging it in water to check for bubbles. Reseal or replace the bag if necessary. Use only vacuum bags/canisters from OBH Nordica. Inspect the vacuum bag for holes. Avoid vacuum packing items that could damage the bag. Leave about 7 cm between the contents and the bag opening, but if there's too much air in the bag, cut off a piece to shorten it.

What to do if my OBH Nordica Kitchen Appliances does not seal the vacuum bag?

The appliance may not seal the vacuum bag if sufficient pressure hasn't been achieved during the vacuum process due to a built-in vacuum sensor. Inspect the sealing strip and remove any dirt. Check the gaskets, and if necessary, remove the lower one for cleaning. Replace damaged gaskets. The vacuum bag may be leaking; test it by sealing it with a little air, then submerge it in water to check for bubbles. Reseal the bag or use a new one. Also, dirt or liquids in the bag opening can make sealing difficult; wipe around the opening before placing it level over the sealing strip.

Make sure the vacuum hose is correctly connected to both the appliance and the top of the canister. Ensure the top’s lock is in the “SEAL” position. At the start of the sealing process, manually push on the top and the hose to prevent air leaks. Verify that the vacuum canister isn't damaged; if it is, use a new one. Also, ensure the edge of the top is clean and dry.
