  The appliance features an integrated vacuum sensor and won't seal if sufficient pressure isn't achieved during vacuuming. Inspect the sealing bar for any dirt. Also, check the gaskets and clean or replace them if damaged. Vacuum bags may leak; test by sealing with a little air and immersing in water. If bubbles appear, it's leaking, so reseal or use a new bag. Dirt or liquid in the bag opening can hinder sealing; wipe the opening before positioning it on the sealing bar.

  Air may remain after vacuum sealing due to leakage from wrinkles, liquid, or particles. Ensure you wipe the bag opening and lid before sealing. Open the bag, clean the opening, and position it correctly on the sealing bar within the vacuum channel. Check that the gaskets are intact, clean, and correctly positioned. The vacuum bag may leak, so check it by sealing it with some air and immersing it in water; if it emits bubbles, it's leaking. Reseal or use a new bag. Only use vacuum bags/containers from OBH Nordica. Inspect the bag for holes and avoid vacuum-packing items that could damage it, such as fish bones or hard shells. Leave a 7 cm gap between the contents and the bag opening. If there is too much air between the ingredients and the opening, shorten the bag.
