13/64” Drill Bit Lighter Soapy Water (as lubricant) Knife or Scissors
3/8” Drill Bit Crimper or Pliers #2 Phillips Head Screwdriver Tape
Rivet Gun Wire Cutter 7/16” Wrench Safety Goggles
Long Strip of Wire, 3 to 4 feet (ex: straightened coat hanger)

1_Cutting Rear Access Hole:
1. Center the paper template on the
circular flat surface at the rear of the tank well.
Tape in place. Mark all nine holes with a pen.
Remove template. See 1.1.
2. Using 13/64” drill bit, drill all holes. See 1.2
3. Using 4” hole saw, cut a hole using the drilled center
hole as a guide. See 1.3 & 1.4.

Center paper template on tank well surface, mark all nine holes with a pen.

Drilling and Cutting

Drill holes using a 13/64-inch bit, then cut the main hole with a 4-inch hole saw.

Rudder Tubing Installation

Drilling Holes for Tubing

Drill four holes at vertical notches in the footwell ledge and stern using a 3/8-inch drill bit.

Routing and Securing Tubing

Insert grommets, lubricate tubing, route through hull, and secure at grommets to prevent sliding.

Foot Rail Assembly Installation

Mounting Foot Rail Assemblies

Position rail assemblies on foot well ledge and attach using screws and washers.

Steering System Installation

Installing Steering Lines

Feed steering cable through tubing, adjust pedal for correct loop at track edge.

Attaching Rudder Body

Secure rudder bracket to transom, then mount rudder body between bracket tabs.
