excessively worn or damaged.
Replace if necessary. Refer to
CRANKSHAFT in the BOTTOM END
subsection.
Installating theTiming Chain
The installation is essentially the reverse
of the removal procedure, but pay
attention to the following details.
NOTE: Installation is the same for both
timing chains.
Install timing chain with camshaft
timing gear.
NOTE: Ensure to carry out proper valve
timing, refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING
GEARS in this subsection.
NOTICE Improper valve timing will
damage engine components.
