How to prevent drive belt wear on ODES UTV?
    • C
      courtneygutierrezJul 27, 2025
To prevent drive belt wear or burn on your ODES Offroad Vehicle, ensure you're not driving at low RPM or ground speed; instead, drive at a higher speed. If the ambient temperature is low, warm the engine for at least 5 minutes, applying small bursts of throttle in neutral. Use the throttle quickly and effectively during clutch engagement. If water or snow enters the CVT system, dry it out and prevent further water entry. Ensure the correct belt is installed and always break in new belts or clutches properly.

      Jeffrey FordJul 31, 2025
If your ODES Offroad Vehicle's engine turns over but fails to start, first, ensure you have enough fuel by turning the fuel valve to reserve and refueling if necessary. Check for a clogged fuel valve or filter and clean or replace it. Drain the fuel system and refuel if water is present in the fuel. Replace old or non-recommended fuel with fresh, recommended fuel and make sure the fuel valve is turned on. Inspect the spark plugs and replace them if they are fouled or defective. Also, check for spark at the spark plug. If the battery voltage is low, recharge the battery to 12.8 VDC. For water or fuel in the crankcase or mechanical failure, consult your dealer.
