  If the Oerlikon Water Pump gets too hot, ensure a sufficient cooling water supply. Also, decalcify cooling water lines and clean the filter insert in the pressure reducer. Make sure the ambient temperature isn't too high and that cooling air flows sufficiently. Check the pressure levels within the system and verify that the gas temperature is not too high. Clean the pumping chamber if the clearance between the housing and rotors is too small due to contamination or distortion. Ensure proper bearing condition and lubricant quality, drain or top up lubricant to the correct level, and consult OLV service for wrong lubricant or defective bearing.

If EF2, EF3, or 100FT is displayed at the frequency converter, the overtemperature switch or motor stator could be defective, requiring OLV Service. A defective pressure switch should be replaced. If the lubricant is too thick, exchange it or warm it up along with the pump. Motor rotor defects or seized components like impellers, bearings, or toothed gears also necessitate OLV Service.

  If the Oerlikon Water Pump is losing lubricant and the leak is apparent via a leaky oil drain plug, drain the lubricant, firmly screw in a new oil drain plug with the gasket, and refill with the correct amount of lubricant. Leaky oil level glasses, a leaky gear cover (replace the O-ring), or a puddle under the motor (seal leak) may also be the cause. For oil level glasses leaky and puddle under the motor, contact OLV Service and shutdown pump immediately. If no lubricant leak is apparent, refer to the troubleshooting steps for 'Lubricant in the pump chamber'.

For motor stator or rotor defects, excessive impeller play or defective bearing, contact OLV Service. Detect and seal any gas leaks to resolve that issue.
