ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
When connecting to the vehicle’s electrical system, proceed as follows:
- Before starting up the product, make sure the operating and/or battery voltage correspond to the data on the plate.
- Connect the product directly to the battery or main switch and make sure the system is equipped with an electrical device
to protect the circuit from surges.
ATTENTION
Avoid connecting via the vehicle's electrical panel as this may cause drops in voltage.
- Insert a fuse upstream from the product (see table below). Connect the red cable to the positive pole on the electrical
system and the black one to the negative pole. Use a pressed lug that is suited the size of the cable.
- A separate switch must be mounted upstream of the product to disconnect the power cables simultaneously.

ATTENTION
If there is a battery charger present, it must be connected to the battery and not directly to the product.
SIZE OF THE ELECTRIC CORDS
Always use cords with an adequate section. The minimum sections are shown in the table below.
