Why do my OFT give off a crackling sound?

  If your OFT Speakers are producing a crackling sound, static, or other noise, ensure all cables are connected to the line-out or audio-out jack on your sound card or audio source, and not speaker-out. If using a computer, check the volume control in Windows and ensure it's not set above halfway to prevent sound distortion.
