Assembly:
The manual provides detailed assembly instructions with diagrams, indicating the required parts and tools. Assembly is estimated to take approximately 2 hours.
Gas Bottle Installation:
- Use a full LPG gas bottle from a gas supplier.
- The bottle must always be installed, moved, and stored in a vertical position.
- Never store the gas bottle in places where temperatures can exceed 51°C (e.g., in a car on hot days).
- Use a certified pressure regulator (not supplied with the appliance).
- Ensure the LPG bottle or regulator valve is closed before connecting.
- Screw the regulator to the connection and the bottle by turning the threaded nut clockwise.
- Ensure the hose is not subject to twists.
Checking for Gas Leaks:
- Always check for gas leaks every time a gas connection is disconnected and reconnected.
- Never use open flames to detect gas leaks.
- Use a solution of water and soap applied with a cloth or brush.
- Bubbles indicate a leak; in this case, close the gas, tighten the connection, and recheck. If the leak persists, contact customer service.
- Rinse connections with clean water after checking.
- Do not turn on the burners during leak checks.
- Do not use the barbecue if gas connections are not perfectly tight.
Ignition (Piezoelectric):
- Always open the lid before igniting the burners.
- Press the power button (18) to ignite the pilot flame.
- Once the pilot flame is on, keep the control knob pressed for 20 seconds to allow the flame safety valve to open and ignite the burner.
- Release the knob and adjust the flame by turning it between "1/4" and "1/2".
- If the burner doesn't ignite, turn the control knob to OFF (•), wait 5 minutes for gas to disperse, and try again.
- The flame of the lateral burner may be difficult to see on very sunny days.
Manual Ignition:
- Always open the lid before igniting the burners.
- Light a long match.
- Insert the ignited match through the cooking grid, placing the flame about 1-2 cm from the left burner.
- Turn the control knob anticlockwise to "I", keep it pressed for 10 seconds; the pilot flame ignites.
- Once the pilot flame is ignited, keep the control knob pressed for an additional 10 seconds to allow the flame safety valve to open and ignite the burner.
- Release the knob and adjust the flame by turning it between "1/4" and "1/2".
Cooking:
- Always preheat the barbecue before cooking.
- Set all burners to "I" and close the lid; heat for 10 minutes.
- Use the upper grid to keep cooked food warm, toast bread, or cook delicate foods.
- Grease the grids with a few drops of cooking oil to prevent food from sticking.
- Sear meat and cook with the lid lowered for perfectly grilled food.
- Cooking times vary based on weather, quantity, size, and food shape.
- Use tongs instead of a fork to flip meat to avoid losing natural juices.
- Use two spatulas to move large whole fish.
- If uncontrolled flames occur, turn off all burners and move food to another part of the cooking grid.
- Never use water to extinguish flames on a gas barbecue.
- Do not let the barbecue overheat.
- Do not move the gas barbecue during use or when it's hot.
- The lid handle and other accessible surfaces can become very hot; use heat-resistant gloves.
Flashbacks (Flame Return):
- If flashback occurs in one or more burners, turn all knobs to "OFF" (•) and close the gas bottle valve.
- Wait 5 minutes before attempting to reignite.
- If the problem persists, wait for the barbecue to cool, check that burner holes are clean, and clean them with compressed air or a brush.
- If the problem still persists, contact an authorized service center.
Cooking End:
- After cooking, leave burners on for 4-5 minutes with the lid open to burn off residues and facilitate cleaning.
- Turn all control knobs clockwise to "OFF" (•).
- Close the gas bottle valve.
- Wait for the barbecue to cool completely before closing the lid.
