      The measurement may drift because the tank water has absorbed too much air. Replace the tank water with fresh, room temperature degassed water. Alternatively, bubbles may have formed on the conical target or transducer head. Wipe any bubbles from the surface of the conical target (including the bottom) and the transducer head.
