Overview

The Oline ErgoPro Ergonomic Office Chair is designed to provide comfort and support for users, featuring a range of adjustable components to suit individual preferences and promote good posture. This user manual outlines the assembly process, usage instructions, and warranty information to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the product.

Function Description

The Oline ErgoPro is an ergonomic office chair engineered to support the user's body during prolonged periods of sitting. Its primary function is to offer a customizable seating experience that helps alleviate discomfort and promote a healthy sitting posture. The chair incorporates various adjustable mechanisms that allow users to tailor the chair to their specific body type and work requirements. These adjustments include the headrest, armrests, seat height, and tilt mechanism, all working in concert to provide a supportive and comfortable environment. The chair is built with durable materials, including an HD ElastoMesh back and seat, soft PU coated armrests, and a 5-point electroplated steel wheelbase, ensuring longevity and stability. The design focuses on user well-being, aiming to reduce strain on the back, neck, and arms, which are common issues associated with extended desk work.

Usage Features

The Oline ErgoPro chair offers several key usage features that enhance its ergonomic capabilities:

  • Headrest Adjustment: The headrest can be moved up or down to adjust its height, allowing users to find optimal neck and head support. Additionally, it can be angled upward or downward to further customize comfort. This feature is crucial for maintaining proper cervical spine alignment and reducing neck strain.

  • 4-Directional Armrests - Height Adjustment: The armrests are designed with a height adjustment mechanism. By pressing and holding the outer side button, users can pull the armrest up or down to achieve the desired height. This helps in supporting the forearms and wrists, preventing shoulder and neck tension.

  • 4-Directional Armrests - Directional Adjustment: Beyond height, the armrests offer multi-directional adjustments. They can be pushed from side to side, moved forward and backward, and pivoted outwards and inwards. This extensive range of motion allows users to position their arms precisely, whether they are typing, writing, or resting, thereby accommodating various tasks and body positions.

  • Height Adjustment: The chair's overall height can be adjusted by pulling the 'flap' of the handle up. This allows users to set the chair at a height that ensures their feet are flat on the floor and their knees are at a 90-degree angle, promoting good circulation and reducing pressure on the thighs.

  • Tilt Mechanism: The tilt mechanism is controlled by the right handle (while seated). Pushing the handle inwards locks the tilt mechanism, while pulling it outward unlocks it. If the chair is in a reclined position and the tilt mechanism is unlocked, a slight push on the backrest will release it. The chair offers three tilt locking positions: upright, middle, and fully reclined, providing flexibility for different activities, from focused work to relaxed contemplation.

  • Tilt Tension Adjustment: The tilt tension can be adjusted by turning a knob. Turning the knob counter-clockwise loosens the tilt of the chair, making it easier to recline, while turning it clockwise tightens it, requiring more effort to recline. This feature allows users to customize the resistance of the tilt based on their body weight and preference, ensuring a smooth and controlled reclining experience.

  • Blade Wheels: The chair is equipped with XL Blade Wheels, which are specifically designed for hardwood and tile floors. These wheels glide silently and smoothly, ensuring easy movement across various hard surfaces without causing damage or noise.

Maintenance Features

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of the Oline ErgoPro chair, regular maintenance is recommended:

  • Screw Tightness Check: It is advised to check that screws have not loosened every 6 months. If any screws are found to be loose, they should be retightened immediately. This prevents structural instability and potential damage to the chair.

  • Packaging Disposal: Users are instructed not to discard any packaging until they are certain all necessary parts for assembly are present. Once confirmed, the packaging should be disposed of in a safe and environmentally responsible way.

  • Safe Operation: The chair should never be used as a step ladder. Children should not be allowed to play with or operate the mechanism. Hands and feet should be kept clear of the mechanism during operation. Only the user should operate the mechanism to prevent accidents and ensure safe usage.

  • Warranty and Customer Support: The product comes with a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and major functional issues. In case of any defects, Oline must be notified within 7 days of the occurrence, with an image or video of the defect sent electronically to Info@HeyOline.com. Replacement parts may be provided, and in some cases, the original parts may need to be shipped back to Oline. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from accidents, modifications without permission, or damage due to improper self-assembly. It is crucial to follow the assembly and care guidelines provided in the manual. Customer support is available via Info@HeyOline.com for any queries or assistance. Users are encouraged to register their chair online within 7 days of receipt to activate their warranty and ensure full coverage.
