IV. Warranty
The warranty conditions are specified in the sales contract. Contact your OLS representative
for further information. Any unauthorized modification of the instrument invalidates
guarantee and service contract.
V. Trademarks
CASY is a trademark of OMNI Life Science GmbH & Co KG. Other brands or product names are
trademarks of their respective holders.
VI. Intended Use
The CASY is intended for highly standardized cell counting and accurate measurement of cell
viability, cell aggregation, and cell volume. The technology of the CASY combines a proven
particle measurement technique, referred to as the electrical sensing zone technique (ISO
13319), with a modern method of signal evaluation, pulse area analysis. The CASY is intended
for life science research and must be used exclusively by laboratory professionals who are
trained in laboratory techniques and have studied the instructions for use of this instrument.
The CASY is not intended for use in diagnostic procedures.

Symbols
