Battery Installation
1. Open the battery
chamber by sliding the cover
in
the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert two
UM-3

batteries
as shown
in Fig.
I and
close the
battery
chamber cover.

Battery Replacement
When
the batteries become weak. the LED indicator
becomes dim,
and the unit stops operating.
In
this case,
please
replace
batteries
with
new ones.
The
unit
pro-
vides
memoryback-up function, and for approximately
2 hours during
battery
replacement,
the
display
con-
tents
on the rcD
panel
are
maintained.

If
the batteries are completely exhausted,
it is
possi-
ble that the display on the LCD
panel
will not be
maintained.

Using AC Adaptor
Connect the
AC
adaptor to a
household
current
wall
outlet, and connect the
plug
to the
power
source

on the side of the unit.

AC
adaptor Olympus designates.
The
unit's circuit can be damaged

an AC adaptor

used
which is
not 3V, or
has
reversed
polarity.
