A 2 Variab le Lens System
This system is composed of two sets of Galilean
telescopic
lenses and a bl ank position. Since the axis
::;: of Ga lilean telescopic lenses are parallel to each oth er,
five different variat i ons can be obtained by their
reversal plus the use of the blank position. When
forming a telescop ic system, variables in the reversed
position give a reciprocal magnification, st i ll within
