Two types of eyepieces are available-lO X and
20x . GlO x is comJ:o.>ed of th ree optical elements,
and G20 x four elements. The field stop for each
eyepiece is positioned jus t below the field lens .

Using the high magnification objectives ( 2 X) the edge of the field may
be darkened at magnification·dial positions 6. 3, 12. 5, 10 and 20. This is
caused by the fact that both 2 X and l x objectives are made to focus at
the same point. lf you want these magnifications. u se th e 1 X objectives.
The image wi ll be br i ghter an d of the desired magnifications, u se the 1 X
objectives.
The image will be brighter and of the desired magnification.
