INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing this product. Please
read and understand these instructions
for proper operation. Be sure to keep this
instruction manual handy for future reference.
• Refer to “Battery, AC adapter, and charger” and
“Safety Precautions” in the camera manual.
INSTRUCTIONS
• If something appears to be wrong with the
charger, such as an abnormal odor, noise, or
smoke, unplug the charger from the PC and
consult your nearest service center.
• Do not put anything heavy on this product or
leave it in an unstable position or in a humid
or dusty place.
• Do not charge a battery if you find something
wrong with it (such as deformity or leakage).
• Do not shake the charger with the battery inserted.
• Do not charge continuously for more than 24
hours. This may cause fire, explosion, leakage
or overheating.
• The manufacturer will not be held liable for
violations of local regulations arising from use
of this product outside the country or region
of purchase.
HOW TO USE
• When charging from a PC (
A
)
Connect the charger’s USB connector to a
USB terminal on a PC that is running.
• When charging from AC outlet (
B
)
Connect the charger’s USB connector to the
USB AC adapter (F-5AC). Then connect the
USB AC adapter to the power cord and insert
the power plug to the outlet.
Insert the battery into the charger as shown,
making sure it is fully inserted with no gaps or
the like.
Charge indication lamp lights and charging
starts.
When charging is complete, the charge
indication lamp turns off. When charging is
complete, remove the battery from the charger.
Also, after removing the power plug from the
electric outlet, remove the charger’s USB
connector from the USB AC adapter.
Note
When charge indication lamp does not light
up or flashes, the battery/charger or USB AC
adapter may be broken or the battery may not
be installed correctly.
