Congratulations! The installation of
the OM-CP-IFC200 USB Datalogger
Interface is complete!
B The blue power LED indicator light
on the OM-CP-IFC200 should be
on. If the blue LED indicator light
is
NOT on, unplug the USB cable
from the OM-CP-IFC200. Wait 5
seconds, then plug the USB cable
into the OM-CP-IFC200.

C Start the OM-CP Data Logging
Software.

If necessary, see the software
manual for additional information
on the software.

D From the Communication menu
on the toolbar choose Select
Comm Port from the drop down
list.

A sub-menu will appear listing the
software available communication
ports. If the OM-CP-IFC200
installation was successful and the
device is plugged into the
computer, the menu option of
USB1 should appear. If multiple
OM-CP-IFC200 devices are
plugged into the same PC, they
will all be listed in this menu as
USB1, USB2, USB3, ... etc. Use
this menu to select the proper
device.

E As with a standard COM port the
OM-CP-IFC200 must be
configured to communicate at the
proper baud rate. The OM-CP-
IFC200 can be configured to work
with most OM-CP Dataloggers by
selecting the proper baud rate in
the software. The baud rate will
be dependent on the baud rate of
the device connected to the host
computer. For example, an
OM-CP-TEMP101 communicates at
2400 baud, so 2400 baud must be
selected from the
Communication menu.
