• Avoid interference from a second pair of Lighthouse sensors in the vicinity.
• Avoid reflective materials like mirrors, shiny floors, or shiny wall objects around the Omni.
• Avoid excessive sunlight.
• Mount the base stations as high as possible (the higher, the better) and point them towards
the floor at a 60-degree angle.
 Lighthouse Wired Connection: For improved tracking and less interference, connect the two
Vive base stations via the included syncing cable (A/B connection).
1.3. Vive HMD Setup
 HMD Cable Routing: For a better user experience, route the HMD cable via the top cable strap,
not the back cable strap:
 Vive Deluxe Audio Strap: We recommend purchasing the Vive Deluxe Audio Strap with
integrated headphones that make cable management easier and provide a much better user
experience than regular headphones.
