Installation
1. Some “DVB-T receivers” or “Digital TV’s” are able to
supply your SV-9350 DVB-T (Freeview) Outdoor
Antenna with POWER (5 VDC/40mA ). You may have to
enable this - please refer to the manual of your DVB-T
Receiver or Digital TV.
If your DVB-T receiver can supply the antenna with 5
VDC/40mA from the F/IEC connector, then please
continue with step 2. Otherwise:
Use the included Power inserter for powering
the SV-9350 DVB-T Outdoor Antenna.
➤ Connect the Power inserter to your DVB-T Receiver
or Digital TV Set.
➤ Connect the AC Adapter plug to the DC input jack
of the Power inserter.
➤ Connect the AC Adapter to the mains.
2. Connect the SV-9350 DVB-T Outdoor Antenna
with coaxial cable to your DVB-T Receiver or
Digital TV Set by using the included accessories:
- coaxial cable
- F connector for connecting to SV-9350 DVB-T
Outdoor Antenna
- F/IEC connector for connecting to DVB-T Receiver,
Digital TV or Power inserter.
3. Place the SV-9350 DVB-T Outdoor Antenna as
high as possible for best performance (allowed
by 6m coax cable).
Note: - Big power consuming devices may be sources of
interference (e.g. air conditioner, elevator, hair
dryer and microwave oven etc.).
- It is advisable to place the SV-9350 DVB-T
Outdoor Antenna as high as possible to prevent
interception between the SV-9350 DVB-T
Outdoor Antenna and the DVB-T signal source.
4. Adjust the orientation of the SV-9350 DVB-T
Outdoor Antenna for best performance before
fixing it to the wall / pole.
