Why is my OnlyAboutInnovation SkimmerMotion not holding to the ground?

  Your OnlyAboutInnovation Swimming Pool Vacuum might not be holding to the ground due to several reasons. The suction adjustment may be too low; try aligning the red pin in the clear base with hole #2 or hole #1 for more suction. The pool filter could be clogged, so clean the pool pump basket and filter. Also, the corrugated hose might be clogged or broken, in which case you should clean it with fresh water or replace it. Ensure that the T-joint is firmly connected to your suction cleaner and all pool hoses are tight. Finally, there might not be enough system vacuum; at the pool pump, close the main drain and decrease wall skimmer suction, then increase suction to the suction port connected to SkimmerMotion.

  If your OnlyAboutInnovation Swimming Pool Vacuum is sucking air and making noise, it could be due to vacuum suction being too strong. Position the ballast (provided) in the second segment (~2 ft. from surface) of the 3/4” hose. If the noise continues, add a second ballast. Another possible cause is an incorrect basket power setting adjustment. Reduce suction by aligning the clear base red pin with basket hole #3.

  To fix the issue of the SkimmerMotion hose tangling with the pool cleaner hose on your OnlyAboutInnovation Swimming Pool Vacuum, first, stretch each segment of the 3/4” corrugated hose to eliminate memory if the hose is curved or coiled. Also, make sure the initial setup is correct by extending the pool cleaner and SkimmerMotion hoses as far as possible from the suction port and eliminating bubbles from the hoses.

  If the T-joint supplied with your OnlyAboutInnovation Swimming Pool Vacuum does not fit your ZodiacTM twist lock connector, it is likely because ZodiacTM MX8, X7, T3 and T5 models use a special twist connector. You should install a twist lock Adapter to the T-joint.
