This document describes the SHARK Simultaneous Measurement Dual Sensor, designed for cycling speed and cadence.
The SHARK sensor is a dual-sensor device that simultaneously measures both cycling speed and cadence. It utilizes Bluetooth 5.0 and ANT+ wireless technologies to transmit data. The device is designed to be attached to a bicycle, with specific components for detecting speed and cadence. Speed is typically measured via a magnet attached to a spoke or air inlet, detected by the main sensor. Cadence is measured via a magnet attached to the pedal bolt groove of the crank arm, also detected by the main sensor. The device features an LED display to indicate its status, including battery level and magnet detection.
Installation: The installation process involves several steps for both the sensor and the magnets:
Magnet Detection Check: Before attaching the dual lock pad, it's recommended to check if the sensor detects the magnets correctly. This ensures proper functionality.
LED Display Status: The device features an LED display to indicate its operational status:
Cautions for Park/Stop: To prolong battery life, it is advised to keep the magnet at least 5cm away from the sensor when the bicycle is parked or stopped.
