Secure the Pi Shield to the frontplate using four M3x8mm screws.
Ensure the ring slides freely within the base assembly before proceeding.
Mount the small turntable stepper motor, orienting its connector to the left.
Press the small gear onto the motor shaft and mount the rotor stepper motor.
Mount the Raspberry Pi, avoiding overtightening screws to prevent board damage.
Insert screws and nuts, then attach the camera module to the ringlight circuit board.
Insert camera ribbon cable through slots, ensuring correct metal plating orientation.
Insert camera ribbon cable into Pi socket, metal plating facing away from ports.
Mount the prepared ringlight module onto the main structure using M3x8 screws.
Connect camera ribbon and JST cables to the ringlight module, routing them carefully.
Connect stepper motor and ringlight JST cables to the respective ports on the Pi Shield.
Attach frontplate to base, aligning Pi and Pi Shield pin headers, securing with M3 screws.
Mount the backplate with screws and use zip-ties for clean cable management.
Optionally mount diffuser/polarizer for enhanced image quality and reduced reflections.
