Unique to the OPPO planar magnetic driver is the use of a double‐
sideddiaphragm,whichallowsustoplacetwiceasmanyconductors
within the magnetic field and eliminate any passive return zones
wherethe conductors do not work. Thisresultsin the use of 10 0%
ofourconductorlength,
whichinturnresultsingreaterefficiency.In
addition, our flat conductor pattern eliminates inductance‐related
intermodulationdistortion,commonwithdynamicheadphones,and
the OPPO PM‐2’s purely resistive im pedance means that sound
qualityisunaffectedbyaheadphone amplifier’soutputimpedance.
TheOPPOPM‐2combineshighsensitivitywith
lowweight,allowing
it to be used freely with portable devices without requiring
additionalamplification.Its circumaural,open backdesignprovides
the best in sound quality and comfort, and the overall rugged
construction ensures that the headphones can withstand
mechanicalandenvironmentalstress.
