VAC:
VAC(Vertical Angle Compensation) is an Opti-Logic Corporation patented technique of
compensating the measured line-of sight distance to account for a projectile’s trajectory, and
displaying the optimum effective shooting range without the need for estimating holdovers or
entering complicated ballistic data into your rangefinder.
Mode Selection And Operation
NOTE: The “M” Mode selection is designed to activate ONLY when pressing the Mode “M” button
while pointing the instrument at a downward angle of 45
(degrees)or greater.
Press and release both buttons, then immediately press and re-press the “M” Mode
button until the LED indicators on the back of the instrument opposite “YD” or “MT”
and “BC” are illuminated. Release the mode button and the instrument will turn off.
Illuminating “YD” LED, activates Line-of-Sight Distance in Yards
Illuminating “MT” LED, activates Line-of-Sight Distance in Meters
Illuminating “BC” LED, activates angle in degrees
Illuminating “YD” + “BC” activates VAC™ in Yards
Illuminating “MT” + “BC” activates VAC™ in Meters
