operate this appliance. It gives important notes for safety, the
use and maintenance of the appliance.
This appliance must never be used near
water (e.g. a lled wash basin, bathtub or
shower).

Operation:
First use:
1. Unpacktheapplianceandalltheaccessories.Cleancover,
steambasketsaswellasthecontainerswithwaterandlittle
tablewaredetergentbeforetherstuse.Drytheparts.
2. Place the base on an even surface. The appliance must
have an appropriate distance from furniture, walls and
otherarticles.Forsafetyreasons,keepchildrenwellaway
fromtheappliance.
3. Check that the voltage on the appliance rating plate
correspondstothevoltageonyourmainssupplymeter.
4. Waterlling:
a.Fillwaterbythewaterllingholeuptothemaximum
waterlevelmark,or
b.Fillwaterdirectlyintothecontaineruptothemaxwater
levelmark.
Note!Neverllotherliquidintothecontaineranddonotgive
additionalingredientse.g.spicestothewater.
5. Placethedrippanonthebase.
Steam basket:
1. Youcancombinethesteambasketsand/orbasketbottoms
dependingupondesire.
2. Placethelargepieces,whichneedalongercookingtime,
inthelowersteambasket.
3. Man can cook differentfood in one process.Make sure
howeverthattheavorscomplementeachother.
4. Foodwithdifferentcookingtimes:Placethefood,which
needalongercookingtime,inthelowersteambasket.As
soonasthetimerreachesthe time for food withshorter
cooking time, remove the cover with a cloth and place
theuppersteambasketonthelowerbasket.Replacethe
cover.
5. Large food: You can remove a basket bottom(press
upward)andbuildfrom2basketsalargersteambasket.
Note!Thelowerbasketmustbeusedwithbottom.
6. Thecavesonthebasketbottomarepracticalforfoodsuch
aseggs.
Start-up:
1. Fillwaterintheapplianceandplugin it.Turntheknob
and choose the cooking time. (The knob connects with
thetimer,whichcanset1hourcookingtime).Sowecan
setthemaxcookingtimeis1hour.Turntheknobandthe
light turns on. The appliance starts working. While the
timerreturnstothe start place,Aacoustic signalsounds
(one“ding“).Thelightturnsoffandthecookingprocess
isover.
2. Boildrycut-out,ifthebaseisaccidentallyswitchedon
emptyorboilsdry,thethermostatturnsoffandtheheater
elementstopsworking.Ifyourrellwaterafterdryout,
thethermostatturnsonandtheheaterelementgoesonto
work.Inthisprocess,thelightisonuntilthecookingtime
isover.
3. Switchofftheapplianceaftertheuseandunplugitfrom
themainssupply socket. Removethe steam basketwith
helpofacloth.Lettheappliancecompletelycooldown,
beforeyoustoreit.
Cleaning and care:
1. Neveruseabrasivecleanersorsharpobjectsforcleaning.
2. Cleanthebasewithasoftdampcloth,neverimmerseitin
water.
