If you want, the lithium ion battery can be used straight from the pack. It
should have a little charge in it. If not, see ‘charging the battery’
below.
1. Pull the battery cover from the little notch on the bottom corner and
remove the cover.
Remove the battery cover
2. Insert the battery by aligning the gold-coloured contacts with the
contacts in the battery slot.
