What to do if Orion Power Systems ONLINE RT1 LITHIUM Power Supply shows overload on LCD display?
    • E
      Elizabeth AliAug 14, 2025
If your Orion Power Systems Power Supply is overloaded, it means the devices connected to it are being fed directly by the electrical network through the Bypass. To resolve this, remove some of the connected devices from the UPS output to reduce the load. If the UPS locks in Bypass mode after repeated overloads, first remove excess loads, then shut down and restart the UPS.

Overview

The Orion Power Systems ONLINE RT1 LITHIUM is an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system designed to provide reliable power backup and protection for critical loads. This series includes LiFePO4 1.5K/2K/3K Online UPS models, offering a range of capacities to suit various needs.

Function Description:

The UPS operates as an online double-conversion system, meaning it continuously converts incoming AC power to DC to charge batteries and then converts it back to clean, stable AC power for connected devices. This ensures that the output power is isolated from utility power fluctuations, providing pure sinewave output. It features programmable outlets for non-critical loads and general outlets for mission-critical loads, allowing users to prioritize backup time during power failures. The system also includes surge protection for network/fax/phone lines and communication ports (USB, RS-232, SNMP intelligent slot) for monitoring and management. An Emergency Power Off (EPO) function is available for immediate shutdown in critical situations. The UPS supports various operating modes, including Online mode for continuous protection, ECO mode for energy saving, Frequency Converter mode for stable output frequency, and Battery mode for backup during power outages.

Important Technical Specifications:

The ONLINE RT1 LITHIUM series offers capacities of 1500VA/1350W (DC1500RT1L), 2000VA/1800W (DC2000RT1L), and 3000VA/2700W (DC3000RT1L).
