Do you have a question about the ORIUM Clock Automatic 36 and is the answer not in the manual?
This document describes the Orium Automatic Clock Ø36 cm, a wall clock designed for use in Europe, featuring an automatic time adjustment mechanism for daylight saving time (DST).
The Orium Automatic Clock is a new-generation wall clock equipped with an automatic movement that handles summer/winter time changes automatically. This functionality is managed by a mini-program integrated into the movement, specifically designed for use in Europe (based on Western European time). Manual time setting is also possible by simply turning a wheel, similar to a basic quartz movement.
The clock offers excellent readability due to its large black numerals and broad hands. It is designed for low power consumption, with a battery life of up to 5 years for the main movement and approximately 6 years for the integrated button cell.
Installation: To install the clock, insert the 3 AA/LR6 batteries (not supplied) into the battery compartment located on the back of the clock. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) as indicated, as incorrect insertion may damage the product.
Time Setting: To set the time, turn the time adjustment wheel on the back of the clock clockwise until the desired time is displayed.
Automatic Summer/Winter Time Changeovers: Once the time is set, no further action is required for automatic time changes. The clock will automatically adjust for summer and winter time thanks to the internal program and the integrated button cell. The DST ON/OFF switch must be in the "I" (ON) position for this feature to work.
Disabling Automatic Time Change: If you wish to deactivate the automatic summer/winter time change function (e.g., in countries where DST is not observed), position the DST ON/OFF switch on the back of the clock to "O" (OFF). To reactivate the function, move the switch back to "I" (ON). By default, the clock is shipped with the function activated ("I" position). Switching the DST ON/OFF from ON to OFF or vice versa will not affect the current time displayed on the clock.
Battery Replacement: If the clock starts to run slow or displays an incorrect time, the AA/LR6 batteries need to be replaced with new ones.
Memory Function: Thanks to the integrated button cell within the movement, the clock retains its recorded time data.
