Operation Guide
Photosimile 200
Software Requirements:
OS: Windows 7 / Windows 8 (latest Service Packs), and Windows 10 compatibility
(Administrator Account for all Windows OS)
MAC 10.9 or higher
CPU: Intel Core
TM
2 Duo E6600 (2.2 GHz) or AMD Athlon 64 X 25000 + (2.6 GHz) or better
RAM: 4 GB
VGA: Min. 1024 x 768, True color
Internet connection with active email account (optional)
Min. 2 USB Ports, CD / DVD ROM drive
Software Installation:
Confirm software requirements
Register the system and download the latest software version from http://www.ortery.com/software-download.
During installation, input the serial number (shown on package and system) and camera type.
Follow the installation instructions to completion.
Launch the Software:
In order for a compatible camera to communicate with the Photosimile 200 control software, it will need to be set to the right
settings. Turn on your camera and visit http://www.ortery.com/camera-settings to get the specific settings for your camera.
Launch Photosimile 200 control software from the Start Menu or desktop.
Note: The control software turns the studio lights on and asks you to turn on your camera. The Photosimile 200 Operation Guide
will help you get started taking pictures.
Taking Pictures:
2. Camera Settings / Crop / Snap
Use the live "Preview", "Crop" and "Camera Settings" to compose photos. Note that with most compatible cameras, changes to
camera settings are immediately visible in the Preview.
3. Image Processing
Please note: Mac and Windows compatible software from Ortery are not identical.
The right side of the user interface contains Image Processing commands. Captured images appear as a thumbnail. Selected
thumbnails can be batch saved, edited, watermarked, printed, annotated, sent by email and more.
1. Real-Time Preview
The left side of the user interface contains Image Capture commands. Click "Preview" to display camera viewfinder contents
live on your monitor screen.
