Use the 3+ in a horizontal position
during the coarse search process!
At a distance of approx. 40m to the
avalanche victim, the direction arrow
(4) and distance indicator (5) appear
on the display. The acoustic signal
from the loudspeaker gets faster and
louder as you approach. The distance
indicator goes down and confirms
you are getting closer.
DISPLAY EXAMPLES
Three transmitters (7) are displayed;
the nearest transmitter is 44m away.
Direction: straight ahead!
Three transmitters are displayed; the
nearest transmitter is 15m away.
Direction: keep slightly to the right!
