3. INTRODUCTION
The LiTRIC System is an electric fan-based system that allows for a lightweight product
that can be deployed multiple times from one single battery charge.
Supercapacitors provide the energy for the airbag release.
Once the airbag is deployed, the supercapacitors are recharged by a small built-in
lithium-ion battery, which allows the Litric System to be ready for deployment again
after just a short pause.
