USES
Grade 2 and 3 Ankle Sprains, Stable Fractures, Post-operative use, Trauma, Rehabilitation
and Achillies Tendon Injuries.
CAUTION
DO NOT REMOVE WALKER UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY PHYSICIAN.
1. Caution should be used if prescribed for patients with diabetes, vascular deficiencies
and neuropathies.
2. This product has been designed and tested based on single patient usage and is not
recommended for multiple patient usage.
3. Be sure the patient performs circulation checks. If a loss of circulation is felt, or if
the walker feels too tight, release contact closure straps and adjust to a comfortable
level. If discomfort continues, the patient should contact their healthcare professional
immediately.
4. If skin irritations of any kind develop, consult physician immediately.
5. Do not remove the inner foam pads which are adhered to the plastic walker boot.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove softgood by opening contact closure straps and lifting out of brace.Do not
remove plastic covers at this time.
2. Place lower leg and foot into softgood. Close softgood snugly over leg.
3. Insert foot into brace by gently spreading uprights. Do not remove plastic covers at
this time.
4. Ensure struts are centered over the ankle bone (malleoli). The lower leg should be
kept at a 90° angle with the foot.
5. Remove plastic covers. This allows the softgood to be secured into position. Maintain
a 90° angle between lower leg and foot.
6. Secure contact closure straps, starting with the contact closure strap at the toes and
working upward. For best fit, secure straps in correct order. Do not pull straps so
tightly that it causes pain or discomfort. Strap adjustments may be necessary as foot,
ankle and leg swelling patterns change.
7. When prescribed by physician, remove leg from softgood by releasing contact closure
straps and opening softgood. Pull foot and leg forward and out, leaving softgood
inside the brace. If softgood is removed, follow Steps 1 through 6 to reapply.
8. The Range of Motion joint can be adjusted in 7.5 degree increments. This is in both
dorsi and plantar flexion up to 45 degrees. (Can be completely locked at any interval
or left with desired range.) To obtain desired positions, pull out pins and place them
in the pin hole that corresponds with desired position. Degrees are marked on the
surface of the joint for ease of adjustment. If motion of the joint is being locked, hex
screw must be tightened down with the provided hex key.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
1. This product can be washed at any time by hand using a mild detergent and cold
water. Remove softgood from walker plastic before washing. Do not use bleach or
strong detergent. Do not wash in washing machine or place in dryer. Air dry flat.
2. Walker plastic can be washed with a damp cloth and mild soap.
