      If your Oster Cooktop is beeping and the power level is blinking after you place a pot on the cooking zone, here's what might be happening: * The cookware might not be induction ready. Test it by placing a magnet on the bottom; if it doesn't stick, it won't work. * The cookware might be the wrong size. The bottom of the cookware should measure between 5.5 and 7 inches in diameter. * The bottom of the cookware might not be flat. Ensure the cookware has a completely flat bottom.

    Why is the fan still running on my Oster CKSTPIC1000 after I turn it off?

      It's normal for the internal fan to keep running for a few seconds after you turn off your Oster Cooktop. This allows the appliance to cool down. The fan will stop automatically once the cooling process is complete.
