The Oster Deluxe Multi-Use Rice Cooker (models 4715, 4717, 4721) is a versatile kitchen appliance designed for cooking rice and steaming vegetables. The primary function of this appliance is to cook rice automatically. Users can measure raw rice using the provided 160 ml measuring cup and add the appropriate amount of water to the inner pot. Once the cooking switch is activated, the red cooking indicator light illuminates, signifying that the cooking process has begun. Upon completion of the cooking cycle, the cooker automatically switches to a "keep warm" function, indicated by a yellow light, maintaining the rice at an optimal serving temperature. This "keep warm" function will remain active until the unit is unplugged from the wall outlet.
