USING YOUR PLANETARY STAND MIXER
First use
• When using the mixer for the rst time, clean the
outside with a soft cloth. Wash the beaters and the
bowl with a soft sponge using a mild detergent. Do
not use abrasive cleaning products, such as alcohol,
scouring powder or solvents as they may damage the
product.
Tilting Mixer Head
• Press the release button and tilt back the mixer head
until you hear a click. With the mixer head in that
position [Figure 1] you can insert/remove the beaters,
remove/place the mixing bowl or position/remove the
anti-spatter bowl cover.
• To lower the mixing head simply press the release
button and gently lower the mixing head until it locks
into the down position.
Beaters
Wire Whisk Beater - suitable for mixing lightweight
batters such as egg whites, whipping cream or
preparing mousses, sauces, pie llings, etc.
Flat Beater | exible at beater – for medium
consistency dough mixtures such as cake batter, pie
mixes, gnocchi or other purees.
Dough Hook – best for mixing tasks involving heavier
dough consistencies such as cookie batter, bread
dough, dough for pizza crust and other pastries.
• Before preparing the mixer for use, make sure it is
unplugged and the speed selector is in the “0” position.
