ALWAYS WEAR A GOVERNMENT APPROVED FLOATATION DEVICE
WHEN OPERATING THE FISH CAT 4.
Know the limits of your ability and the limits of your equipment.
Changes in air temperature and elevation could cause the air inside the
Fish Cat 4 to expand which could cause the tube to burst. Always release
some air when these conditions occur.
Never leave your boat sitting in direct sunlight when it is out of the water.
This owner’s manual will help you with initial set up of your new float tube, provide basic safety information,
review boat maintenance tips, plus cover some simple field repairs. Please review this material and familiarize
yourself with the craft before using it.

Seat Bottom Installation

Step 1: Place Deflated Boat

Place the deflated Fish Cat 4 - LCS on a flat surface.

Step 2: Install First Foam Block

Install one foam seat bottom block into the front of the seat pocket.

Step 3: Install Second Foam Block

Install the second foam seat bottom block into the seat pocket.

Seat Back Installation

Step 1: Install Seat Back Foam

Install the seat back foam into the corresponding seat back pocket.

Step 2: Secure Seat Cover Flap

Thread webbing through the ladder lock buckle to secure the seat cover flap.

Float Tube Inflation

Step 1: Close Valves

Close core valve assemblies and open the valve cap.

Step 2: Inflate to Pressure

Inflate to approximately 2.0 PSI using the hand pump and Boston valve adapter.

Deflation Procedure

To deflate, loosen the core valve assembly of the Boston valve counter-clockwise.

General Care

Keep zippers clean, clean boat with soap and water, and allow to dry before rolling.

Usage Precautions

Do not set boat on sharp objects, do not over inflate, and keep zippers clean.

Basic Troubleshooting

Valve Not Retaining Air

Clear debris from valve or tighten core assembly if it does not seal properly.

Tube Becomes Soft

Check for leaks, determine soft chamber, and patch with Tear Aid patch if needed.

Tube Puckered or Void

Manipulate AIREcell during inflation or adjust via zipper if puckering persists.

Zipper Operation

Clean zippers with soap, water, and toothbrush to clear debris.

Tear Aid Patch Adhesion

Ensure patched area is dry and clean; use alcohol pad for preparation.

Step 1: Access Area

Locate and access the hole area via zipper on the boat and AIREcell.

Step 2: Dry Area
