MAINTENANCE
Routine maintenance is critical to ensure proper
machine operation and cleaning performance. Perform
all maintenance procedures as follows:
Always disconnect and remove batteries before
performing any maintenance. See front page
for warnings.
Daily Maintenance
• Inspect the battery cord, battery connectors and
charger connectors for any damage.
• Remove the debris canister, remove the primary filter
and filter cup, and empty the contents into an approved
trash receptacle. See photos 18, 19 and 20.
Knock/shake the debris from the filter and cup into an
approved trash receptacle (photo 21). Always reinstall
the filter
and the
cup.

be rinsed out with water.

manufacture.
• Check carbon brushes for wear. When carbon
brushes are worn to 1/2" in length return the machine
to an authorized NSS Service center.
