The Ovalair AIR1000 is a purifying air filter designed to improve indoor air quality through a combination of filtration and Anion technology. It is intended for indoor use only and should be operated by adults, not children under 8 years old.

Function Description:

The air purifier cleans and purifies indoor air by utilizing a multi-stage filtration system. It incorporates cold catalyst and charcoal filters to target and remove indoor air pollutants such as benzene, formaldehyde, and other Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Additionally, a HEPA filter is included to capture 99.7% of common allergens and irritants like pollen, pet dander, dust mites, and smoke particles. Beyond filtration, the device features an Anion ionizing function that releases negatively charged ions to freshen the air and effectively reduce odors, contributing to a more pleasant indoor environment.

Usage Features:

The Ovalair AIR1000 offers several user-friendly features for optimal operation:

• Anion Button: Activates or deactivates the air ionizing feature.
• Filter Reset Button: Used to reset the filter replacement timer after a new filter is installed. The filter should be replaced every 3000 hours of operation. To reset, press and hold the button for 5 seconds.
• Speed Button: Controls the fan speed. Pressing it starts the fan at the lowest speed, and subsequent presses increase the speed.
• Sleep Mode: Reduces fan speed to a low setting and dims the unit's lights for quiet operation during rest periods. It can be exited by pressing either the Sleep or Speed button.
• Auto Mode: Automatically adjusts the fan speed and operation mode to balance energy efficiency and comfort, based on detected air quality.
• Timer Function: Allows users to set an automatic shutoff time for the unit.
• Lock Button: Unlocks the unit if an incorrect combination of button presses accidentally causes it to lock, preventing unintended changes to settings.
• Power: Connects the power supply cable to a wall outlet to power the unit.

Placement Guidelines:

• The air purifier is designed for use in rooms with good air circulation.
• It should be placed at least 4 inches (10cm) from nearby walls and furniture to ensure proper airflow.

• Filter Replacement Procedure:
  1. Remove the front panel by releasing the small latch at the upper left corner, then tilt the panel forward and lift to disconnect it from the bottom.
  2. Remove the filter frame.
  3. Grab the filter frame along the edges, tilt it forward, and lift it out.
  4. Remove the old filter elements from the frame and discard them.
  5. Reassemble the filter frame with the new filter elements, ensuring they are placed in the correct order (refer to numbers #1-#4 on the elements).
  6. Replace the front panel by gently clicking it back into place.

Troubleshooting:

• Unit not running:
  • Ensure the power button has been turned ON.
  • Check if the unit is plugged in and if the outlet has power.
• Unit not removing smoke and odors:
  • Verify that the filter elements are installed in the correct order within the filter frame.
  • Replace the filter elements if they are old or clogged.
  • Remove any objects blocking the air inlet on the unit.
• Repair/Replacement: The unit needs repair or replacement if it is still not working properly after following troubleshooting steps, if a foreign object enters the unit and stops it from working, or if the power cord is damaged.
