Step 1: Flange Assembly

Long Tiling Flange Attachment

Determine the back wall side and attach the long tiling flange using silicone and screws.

Short Side Flange Installation

Repeat the flange attachment process for the two short sides of the shower base.

Step 2: Base Placement

Leveling Wall Structure

Ensure the wall structure is properly leveled before placing the shower base.

Marking Base Outline

Position the shower base on the floor and mark its outline using a pencil.

Step 3: Drain Installation

Waste Pipe Plumbing Completion

Verify that the waste pipe plumbing is completed before proceeding with drain installation.

Drain Body and Strainer Sealing

Seal the drain body to the waste pipe and screw the strainer body into the drain body.

Step 4: Cement Application and Leveling

Apply Cement for Leveling

Apply a layer of cement (1-1.5 inches thick) within the traced contour to level the base.

Polyethylene Sheet Protection

Cover the cement with a thin polyethylene sheet to prevent the base from sticking permanently.

Leveling the Shower Base

Ensure the shower base is perfectly level after placement on the cement bed.

Step 5: Securing Base to Walls

Shim Installation for Gap Filling

Use wood shims to fill the gap between the base flange and drywall for a secure fit.

Fastening Base to Studs

Drill guide holes and securely screw the shower base flange to the wall studs.

Step 6: Post-Installation Adjustments

Trimming Excess Shims

Cut off any protruding parts of the wood shims after they have been secured.

Cement Curing Time

Allow the applied cement to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before continuing installation.

Step 7: Drywall Preparation

Measuring Plumbing Positions

Measure and mark the locations of existing shower plumbing on the wall structure.

Drywall Cutting for Plumbing

Drill holes at measured plumbing points and cut drywall to the appropriate height.

Step 8: Drywall Installation

Securing Drywalls to Studs

Fix the prepared drywalls to the wall studs using appropriate drywall screws.

Drywall Placement on Flange

Ensure the bottom edge of the drywalls rests on the shower base flange.

Sealing Drywall Edges

Apply silicone sealant to the joints where the drywalls meet the shower base flange.

Step 9: Final Touches and Transition

Wall Tile Installation

Install wall tiles on the prepared surfaces around the shower base.

Sealing All Joints

Apply silicone sealant to all joints to ensure a watertight finish.
