Usage Features

Assembly:

  1. Handle Assembly (Fig. B): Loosen the thumbscrews (2) and install the lower handle parts (1) into the brackets, then tighten the screws. Connect the top and bottom handle parts with bolts, washers, and wing nuts. Route the cable from the switch along the handle and secure it with clips.
  2. Grass Catcher Assembly (Fig. C): Place the top cover onto the bottom of the grass container. Press the lid until it locks with the latches. Insert the handle into the designated holes in the lid.
  3. Installing/Removing the Grass Catcher (Fig. C): To install, raise the rear discharge guard, insert the grass catcher with its guide bar into the chute, and hook it onto the tabs under the guard. Lower the guard to secure the catcher. Removal is the reverse process.

Operation:

  1. Setting the Cutting Height (Fig. D): Turn the mower upside down. Pull the front wheel axle forward and set it to one of three positions (20, 35, or 50 mm). Repeat for the rear wheels.
  2. Switching On/Off (Fig. E): To turn on, first press the lock button (2) without releasing it, then press the switch lever (1). The product turns off when the lever is released.
  3. Mowing Recommendations:
    • Keep the switch lever pressed during operation.
    • Start mowing at the edge of the lawn, close to the mains socket, and move away from the outlet. After each turn, lay the cable on the mown side of the lawn.
    • Adjust mowing speed to ensure maximum engine speed. Reduce speed in heavily overgrown areas if engine speed drops.
    • Exercise caution on slopes, maintaining secure balance. Mow across the slope, not along it.
    • For high vegetation, mow in several passes, gradually lowering the cutting level.

Safety Precautions:

  • Always read the instruction manual before use.
  • Keep bystanders, especially children and pets, away from the machine during operation.
  • Wear substantial footwear, long trousers, and ear protection.
  • Thoroughly inspect the area for stones, sticks, wires, bones, and other foreign objects before mowing.
  • Visually inspect blades, blade bolts, and cutter assembly for wear or damage; replace worn parts in sets to maintain balance.
  • Mow only in daylight or good artificial light.
  • Avoid mowing in wet grass or during bad weather conditions, especially lightning.
  • Walk, never run.
  • Never operate with defective guards or shields, or without safety devices like deflectors and/or grass catchers.
  • Disconnect from mains and wait for blades to stop completely before adjusting, cleaning, or leaving the machine unattended.
  • Keep the flexible cord away from cutting blades.
  • Do not use in rain or leave outdoors when raining.
  • Beware of electric shock hazard.
  • Do not allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the machine.
  • This machine is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities unless supervised.
  • Never mow while people or pets are nearby.
  • The operator is responsible for accidents or hazards to others.
  • Do not operate barefoot or with open sandals.
  • Working on banks can be dangerous; avoid excessively steep slopes and ensure footing on slopes or wet grass.
  • Never pull the mower towards you; always push it forward.
  • Do not tilt the machine when starting or running, unless necessary for high grass, and only tilt as much as needed.
  • Keep hands and feet away from rotating parts.
  • Do not lift or carry the machine while the engine is running.
  • Regularly check the power cord and extension cord for damage. Do not connect a damaged cord to the mains or touch it.
