P.L.A. S.p.A. 5 years guarantee against water damage
1) Duration and activation of the guarantee
P.L.A. S.p.A. guarantees for 5 years each vehicle from water damage that could seriously damage it.
The guarantee validity starts from the matriculation date, resulting from the log book.
2) object and terms of the guarantee
P.L.A. S.p.A. commits itself to solve each problem caused by possible water inltrations, in case in
which the damage is ascribable to manufactory defects of the body.
To maintain this guarantee valid, the vehicle must be checked every 6 months by the P.L.A. S.p.A.
dealers or by the authorised repairing shops, that in these occasions must ll out the check coupon
for waterproofness enclosed in this booklet. In case of lack of these controls, the guarantee will be
considered not valid.
3) guarantee exclusion’s clauses
Guarantee is not recognised if:
- inltrations originate from accidental damages caused by crashes, negligence in the maintenance,
installation of not original accessories, interventions done not in conformity with the prescriptions of
P.L.A. S.p.A. or anyway by any other factor not ascribable to P.L.A. S.p.A.;
- the noticed damages during the check have not been repaired immediately by a P.L.A. S.p.A.
dealer or an authorised repair shop or if the repairing has not been done in conformity with the
manufacturers prescriptions or using inappropriate materials and not original spare parts;
- the vehicle has not been checked at the terms stated by the guarantee conditions;
- possible damages that could cause inltrations and have been discovered during the car
service have not been removed;
- the fault has not been denounced within 30 days from its start, that ist to say at the moment of its
discovery.
During the guarantee validity period (5 years) P.L.A. S.p.A. takes charge of the expenses for:
- all indispensable materials and components for the repairing and/or substitution;
- the necessary maintenance to do the repairing and or substitution.
Expenses that are charged on the customer are:
- car service for waterproofness;
- the transport of the motorhome to the P.L.A. S.p.A. dealer or authorised repair shop to do the car
service or repairing;
- repairing for accidents;
- repairing due to a wrong use of the vehicle;
- the lack of the vehicle during the repairing time.
4) Guarantee termination
After the validity period of the guarantee (5 years) each repairing and/or maintenance consequent to
inltrations will be charged on the customer.
Possible repairing a/o maintenance of damages due to water inltration don’t extend the guarantee
validity period, that will anyway decay at the end of the 5 years from matriculation date.
5) Territorial extension
The present waterproofness guarantee is ensured on the whole European Union territory (EEC).

P.L.A. S.p.A vehicles are identied, besides the number plate, also by the chassis’ number , that can
