Open the Velcro fasteners and clean the individual pieces:
• Leather head band padding and neck piece: use soapy water and a soft cloth
• Head padding: hand-wash in cold water and a mild detergent. Rinse with water
and let dry.

Note: do not remove the interior basket from the shell!
NECK PROTECTORS:
• Neck protectors made of Nomex, or meta-aramid: cleaning at 30°C with a gentle
detergent
• Leather or aluminised neck protectors: cleaning at 30°C with water using a
sponge
