CAUTION
DO NOT re-torque or reuse existing
flange head bolts. These bolts are fac-
tory set to the specified torque. If bolts
are loose or damaged, they must be
replaced with the new bolts. Failure to
comply may result in equipment or
property damage.
Engine Identification
PX Engine EPA Label
The EPA label provides important details
about the engine. This label is located on
top of the engine valve cover (PX-7) or on
the front timing gear cover (PX-9). The
engine EPA label must not be changed
unless approved by PACCAR.

Engine Identification
The engine dataplate contains information
specific to that engine. The engine serial
number (ESN) and control parts list (CPL)
provide information for service and
ordering parts.
