M-Series ON-BOARD CHARGER INSTRUCTIONS
Some wheelchairs are equipped with the optional On-board Micro-Lite
Charger. This charger is built onto the chair for ease of use and to provide
the opportunity for “convenience charging”. You only need to keep track of
a simple power cord which can be stowed in the convenient pouch on the
back of the seat.
Locate the access port located on the topside of the power base. Open the
protective rubber plug found inside the access port and remove the protec-
tive rubber plug from the AC receptacle. Plug the receptacle end of the AC
power cord into the receptacle of the charger and the plug end into a wall
outlet. Observe the operation LED of the charger located adjacent to the AC
receptacle on the power base. All operation of the charger is the same as
that of the off-board Micro-Lite charger outlined in your owners manual.

WARNING: Be cautious not to apply AC to the charging system in the pres-
ence of rain or other moisture as the potential of electric shock or other
personal injury might occur. Be certain to replace the protective cover on the
receptacle to prevent contaminants from accumulating inside the receptacle.
