Palm
™
Web Pro Requirements
Some handhelds come with Web Pro 3.0 (or 3.0.x) already installed; you open it just
as you open any other application on your handheld. If you are upgrading from an
earlier version of Web Pro, review the following system requirements. Then, refer
to the documentation you received with your handheld for information about
installing additional applications.
Handheld
system requirements
To use Web Pro 3.0 (or 3.0.x), your handheld must have the following:
■ Palm OS
®
software version 5.0 or later
■ 16 megabytes (MB) of total RAM with 2.5 MB of free RAM available
■ A way to connect to the Internet. For example, one of the following:
– A radio built into your handheld
– A wireless connection made through peripheral hardware attached to
your handheld
– A connection using a cell phone and appropriate software
– A modem for your handheld
NOTE Web Pro 3.0 (or 3.0.x) is not supported on the following Palm™ handhelds:
Palm™ m100 series handhelds, Palm™ m500 series handhelds, Palm™ i700 series
handhelds, Zire™ handhelds, and Tungsten™ W handhelds.
To find the Palm OS version number:
1. Go to the Palm applications Home screen.
2. Open the menus.
3. Tap Info from the App menu.
4. Tap Version.
